About the event
In the Gather 'Round Miami SuperJam, we are continuing on our mission to create a quality curated space for world class artistry and open dialogue. Totally improvised, this gathering is a spectacle of musicianship, human connection, and possibility.
Our number one priority is to curate a physical space to engage with world class musicianship and have genuine conversation. We are here to come together as community and make together. Please come with an open mind for your own creative exploration.
7pm: conversation hour, food, drink, with table prompts promoting conversation on genuine topics.
9pm til 11pm: the gather round super jam - world class musicians use poetry and prompts to the way for us to create together in real time. (everyone to the stage area, no conversations please.)
Note: The superjam is NOT an open jam format. The bandmembers include highly skilled professional local musicians specialized in real time improvisation.
The microphone is offered throughout the night to local poets and gatherers who answer our nightly prompts. The theme for the poetry section of the evening is CHANGE.
